Positive, I loved the location and how close it was to Münsterplatz! The room was spacious and had a modern touch with the Schwarzwälder art. Breakfast was a highlight, especially the fresh fruit salad. The friendly staff even waited for us during a late check-in. 😉

central location, clean room condition, good access to public transport
Accessibility could use major improvement with step-free access!!! The parking situation is convoluted and lacks proper signage!!! Heavy luggage makes navigating the cobblestones a tiresome workout!!!

The location was fantastic. a short walk to the Minster. My room was spacious and had a lovely view. Plus, they gave us transportation tickets, which were handy. Breakfast had a nice variety and was pretty tasty.

What makes it worth it – and what doesn’t
The location is fantastic , nestled in the old town with plenty of shops nearby. The staff's warm hospitality is commendable, allowing an early check-in without hassle.
While the room was clean, it lacked any unique features and didn't stand out compared to similar accommodations.

This place suits me perfectly. It has free wi-fi in rooms, a lift, and cots available. I especially remember how the staff helped with my documents I forgot during my first stay. I’m coming back for a new year!

I had a great stay overall! The breakfast was delicious, especially the fresh fruit salad, and my classic double room was spacious and newly renovated. However, it could be a bit noisy at night from the street sounds.

The location was ideal for exploring the old town, just a short walk from popular attractions. Rooms are bright and recently renovated, offering a comfortable ambiance. The friendly staff provided excellent assistance, especially with late check-in. However, the breakfast selection was limited, and the coffee from the machine could be better. Additionally, if it gets hot outside, it might be uncomfortable inside without air conditioning.

Free Wi-Fi in rooms was great. The lift was a bit slow during my stay.

Great spot for a getaway with friends! The location made it easy to explore both the city and the Black Forest. Nice to unwind with free tea and coffee throughout the day. We checked out Europapark Rust—such a blast! Highly recommend this hotel for a fun trip.
However, breakfast could use more variety. I expected a wider selection given the size of the hotel. Just plan to have some local meals if you can.

However, my room felt more like a sauna than a palace. Seriously, I was half-expecting a tropical bird to show up any minute!

Super comfy stay in Freiburg!
We loved our time here! The rooms were cozy and super clean, and the staff was so friendly. Breakfast was delicious with local ingredients. They also had free tea and coffee anytime, which was a nice touch. Just be ready for the breakfast hall to get a bit crowded. Overall, a solid choice for exploring the city!
